The primary objective of these courses is to produce skilled manpower and perform cutting edge scientific research in the field of Meteorology, Hydrology, Glaciology and Climate Science. CDHM has been known for producing competitive Meteorologists and Hydrologists with outstanding academic records. CDHM offers not only theoretical and laboratory-based courses but also extensive fieldwork techniques so as to build students’ with competent knowledge in various fields. CDHM curriculum covers wide range of the fields that includes hydrology, water resources, weather forecast, cryospheric process, climate change, hydro-meteorological disasters, numerical modeling, air pollution, etc. Courses offered by CDHM are designed to maximize employment prospects through acquisition of subject knowledge and practical skills.Recruit and train students with strong academic and leadership potential, providing them with the scientific and personal skills to make new discoveries and translate their knowledge into developments for the well-being of the society
